Perseverance is the hard work you do after you get tired of doing the hard work you already did. – Newt Gingrich

Perseverance is the key to everyday life. It’s when in your job you have worked and struggled, but need something just a little more to get it completed. It’s at home with an unruly child, or after an argument with your wife. When no matter what it seems you say or do, you can’t seem to get passed “it”, whatever “it” may be. You have to develop the perseverance, the stubbornness, the will to move forward to be successful. The will work on maintaining family relationships. The will to get better physically.

Today we worked on our perseverance. Today we worked on our humility. Today we worked on our ability to physically and mentally move passed that seemingly insurmountable object. Today we worked on becoming better men, one rep at a time. Here’s how it went…..

Conditions: A cold Monday morning in the Wood.

Announcements/Praise Reports/Prayer Request: You should have been there if you wanted to know what was said.

Naked Man Moleskin: It was great to be back at Terrapin.

Sunshine and Southern Belle white knighted the rest of us. It was a strong group of pax but these two pushed through the pain to lead the way.

Forearms often get overlooked as an important muscle group to work on. It is a pivotal piece of getting total body strong. It is a piece that YHC will be focusing on during my future Qs. Until next time.
