Conditions: Amazing, till we had a little rain at the end.

Uncle Jesse asked YHC to Q fury weeks ago. I never have posted at Fury much, during Polly’s Epicenter reign he would not allow us to post at other AO’s. Now Polly is a social butterfly and posts all over the place. He also gives amazing work and perseverance as well.

So, YHC brought his bag of tricks and work proceeded.

PAX paired up to move the 80lbs bag, 60lbs bag, 40lbs bag, a 50lbs and 30lbs slam ball and big Bertha (she tips the scales upwards of 125 or so). The PAX split even but the gear did not. One PAX carried while the other other did 20 squats and then caught back up as we all moseyed down Fury hill.

BOTTOM OF THE HILL.

Dora(ish) work was done

Teams of two picked their poison from the various implements. 100 cleans 200 shoulder press was the goal. (With a rumor about 300 weighted crunches that never materialized) One man worked while another ran up Fury hill to complete 10 burpees (quickly changed to 5).

Quick team merkin challenge (total merkins for the team in 2 minutes. All teams up over a 100 with weaver and inspector nailing 140.)

Dora(ish) work continued.

100 slams while the other PAX ascended Fury Hill and completed 15 squats. Rain began around 3/4’s point of the work. The sandbags get heavier when wet and no one wanted that. So the long uphill climb with the goodies and internment squats along the way commenced.

Bags placed back in YHC’s ride. It was riding low for sure. Indian run back down and up Fury hill to fill the time. 2 minutes left when we got back to Fury. So max efforts merkins ran the clock out.

Great efforts by all. Heavier weight can be humbling. But the smaller PAX held there on and moved the bags well.

Fury hill is awesome. Hills smoke YHC so quickly. Not a ton of mumble chatter, just heavy breathing.

Prayers for Brute’s son Gabe and for 2C.

A challenge to was given to examine our Bible intake last year and have a plan to be in the Word in 2019.

“The instructions of the Lord are perfect, reviving the soul. The decrees of the Lord are trustworthy, making wise the simple. The commandments of the Lord are right, bringing joy to the heart. The commands of the Lord are clear, giving insight for living. Reverence for the Lord is pure, lasting forever. The laws of the Lord are true; each one is fair. They are more desirable than gold, even the finest gold. They are sweeter than honey, even honey dripping from the comb. They are a warning to your servant, a great reward for those who obey them. How can I know all the sins lurking in my heart? Cleanse me from these hidden faults. Keep your servant from deliberate sins! Don’t let them control me. Then I will be free of guilt and innocent of great sin. May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be pleasing to you, O Lord, my rock and my redeemer.”
