F3 Greenwood

Weather: 22 degrees and clear

One minute warning and disclaimer given. All four or five leaving out at 5:15 were familiar with the various routes available. A few left early and a couple arrived a minute or five late.

All 15 reconvened back at Starbucks safely. I was surprised when the count ended at 15 since there were only five or six leaving at 5:15. A couple of the guys left before COT to put their families first. Good on you men for getting in work and taking care of things at home too. Much respect from this pax for the commitment to your brothers in the gloom but more importantly, your family at home.

Announcements: Run your Ice off is this Saturday. The ice we had on the run this morning will be long gone by then.

A Q is needed for Saturday’s bootcamp at Shipyard.

Prayer Request: Judge Hairy’s Train Engineer friend that had a woman commit suicide by stopping in front of the train he was operating.

Brute’s wife and unborn Baby Gabe had a good checkup yesterday in Greenville.

I arrived this morning a little early and saw a couple of the pax leave out for an extra mile or two. I stayed in the car for a minute to bundle up. When I finally got out into one of the coldest days this winter, I see Smokey. Good to have you in the gloom again Smokey.

I like cold weather running so I enjoyed this mornings run. Thanks for pointing out the clear skies with stars and Jupiter this morning Mac’n Cheese. The astrology lesson took my mind off Starbucks hill that loomed ahead. When you’re out in the gloom, look around and enjoy the scenery. Most people never see their everyday surroundings at that time of day/night. I think they are missing some serenity that’s right under their nose.
