Announcements- Baby Gabe 5K, Saturday workout at Fury

Prayer requests- Alpo Hugs for guidence in employment and life decisions. Brut family

YHC discussed with the group about Hulk’s challenge for PAX to set 3rdF goals and not only 1stF goals. This is something I intend to do for myself and my family. I am guilty of making my 3rdF a last priority most times. So YHC echoes Hulk’s challenge for each of you to spend time in the Word every day. As we sharpen our minds and hearts on what the Lord says about how we are to live, the better we will be able to sharpen our brothers.

BOM- YHC prayed us out

NMM- YHC was looking for a hero WOD that could be done under a gazebo(with minimal modification) since there was a threat of rain, or outside in the rare chance there was no rain. I also wanted one that looked horrible on paper, which means even more suck in the gloom. Well, I think I found it. 250 squats, 150 pull ups, and 150 dips. The 60 pull ups at the very end after you are completely smoked seemed almost impossible. Inspector would not let anyone slow down though. He kept blasting through them and pushing us to do the same. T-claps Inspector. This dudes pull ups are on point. 2C was also holding his own on the bars with YHC and Inspector. Mary Anne was being smart and modifying due to a nagging injury. That didn’t stop him from showing up on a crappy morning and getting some quality work in. Alpo Hugs was also modifying the pull ups with lateral raises. He was giving it all he had. No doubt we will all feel the burn from this WOD. Thank you guys for posting this morning, not only for yourself or for me, but to honor a life that was cut short because of a sacrifice for something bigger than Jason Dale Lewis. Jason was a Navy Seal that was killed when his Humvee struck a homemade bomb on July 6, 2007. He is survived by a wife and three children. Thank you for your service sir. I hope we honored you well this morning.

Southern Belle is hanging up…….
