YHC went to the Q sheet last week to sign up for the Epicenter Q for tomorrow as a birthday present but was pleasantly surprised to see it was already taken by Bean-O. So, YHC did the next best thing and signed up for Terrapin today. Looking at the forecast and with the amount of rain that we have had the past 3 days, YHC decided that PAX were going to stay as dry as possible and planned some body weight gazebo work and it was a crowd pleaser.

Disclaimer given.

NMS
-Solid work out in by the 4 PAX today. As usual, Southern Belle led the pack. YHC called an audible from 5 sets to 3 sets during the 1st group of exercises. YHC underestimated the transition from split lunges to burpees to monkey humpers. We all might have needed to crawl back to our cars if we did 5 sets.
-YHC shared Isaiah 9:6-7, “For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Might God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Of the greatness of his government and peace there will be no end. He will reign on David’s throne and over his kingdom, establishing, and upholding it with justice and righteousness from that time on and forever. The zeal of the Lord Almighty will accomplish this.” This OT prophecy spoke of the coming of the Messiah during a time when the Israelites needed hope. We also live in a time when we need hope as we look at the world around us. And while this prophecy speaks of the coming of Jesus as a baby, it also speaks of the second coming when He will return and establish Peace on Earth. We all should live with hope because of this promise.

Until next time,
