Poor old Tsunami.  What started out as a tidal wave has now fizzled to a ripple.  That said, I wanted to show my support and offer a Q to hopefully get some momentum going.  Unfortunately, no momentum was gained.  We had 3 double downers (one who left early).  I am not naming any names, but BluePrint and I stayed until the end.  For a moment I thought we were going to have 5, but Corncob and Special K quickly made it known they were only going back to retrieve their gloves from Blu’s earlier Q.

Anywho – it went like this:

Each PAX grabs coupon and line up at bottom of concrete monster

25 Burpees
100 Block Curls
Burpee Broad Jump up the monster (~50 yards)
100 Merkins
Bear Crawl down the monster (~50 yards)
100 Bonnie Blairs (count each leg)
Burpee Broad Jump up the monster (~50 yards)
100 LBCs
Lunge walk down the monster (~50 yards)
100 chest presses
25 Burpees

More work was on the agenda, but due to a slightly late start and fatigue from the double down (yes, I admit it slowed me down), we finished the above work right on time.

  • Doubling down definitely taxes you.  I encourage more folks to give it a go.
  • For all the grief Tsunami gets, it is a good thing.  I was home by 7:00, did a quick clean up around my pool after last night’s storm, showered and to work by 8:00.  No real excuse to not give it a go.
  • Good job gentlemen.
