0500- CURL-OFF…INSPECTOR V. ENCINOMAN

The gauntlet was thrown and Encinoman accepted the curl-off challenge – AMRAP in five minutes. Sleeves optional, for only me apparently. So not only did I lose in a big way, but I lost sleeveless. It was like 187 to 290-sumthin’. A minute in I realized I had made a terrible mistake. I’m not sure EM even took a break. Lesson learned. Rumor has it Crayola has extended a similar challenge his way with dips. We’ll see what unfolds…

0514 – One minute warning and disclaimer given (I think?)

NMM

Today marks a blind step into the unknown as our everyday life is turned upside down and we all struggle to find some sense of normalcy.  We are all forced into the stereotype of the rock that must remain strong, regardless of the fear, anxiety, and uncertainty that inevitably creeps in. I am not ashamed to admit that I am afraid of the unknown and have lived the past few days in a heightened state of internal frenzy. In times like these, rely on the brotherhood of F3. Naming a fear reduces the impact, and sharing a problem cuts it in half. Be strong for each other and help those that you know are not in a good mental space. Stand strong for the brother to your right in the COT, and if your strength fails, know that the brother on your left is there to pick you up. Speak with one unified voice, more so in these scary times than ever, that we will not let fear overtake our lives and we will be beacons of hope and decency in the community. Continue to be the sons, husbands, fathers, brothers, uncles, employees, and employers that our faith and fellowship has shaped us to be. I love you all and am undeserving of the strength and support that all of you have shown, especially when I cannot show them myself.

Respectfully yours,

Inspector

(but I did see a screenshot of a Twitter poll showing Twitterless Inspector the favorite over Encinoman 60/40…)
