After a weekend of Spartan shenanigans, it was determined that a relatively stationary workout would be a good idea. The rain put us under the turtle gazebo, and I thought it would be a great opportunity for some to get back on track with Nips Out November!
Here is what occurred.
5:14 – Disclaimer, and here comes Encino around the corner on two wheels.
5:15 – Warmup – 30 merkins oyo.
5:16ish – Go fetch a block and head to the gazebo.
The main course….
1 curl, 5 merkins, 2 curls, 5 merkins, 3 curls, 5 merkins, 4 curls, 5 merkins, 5 curls, 5 merkins, and continue this pattern until you reach 15 curls, then decent back down to 1. Every 5 sets of merkins, pax mosey to a pullup bar where 10 pullups are completed. Total reps would be 240 curls, 60 pullups, and 150 merkins.
Once this was finished we repeated the same thing, but replaced the curls with rows.
5:59 – Recover/block return

I’m glad to give guys the opportunity to catch up on their merkin challenge. My back is sore from having to carry my team.
In all seriousness, these guys killed it this morning. This would make great upper body training for the Murph.
Keep on coloring,
