Many many weeks back, hmmm ……… maybe 8-10, I checked the block for this Q. It wasn’t because I had something really cool and devious planned to try and make those that were going to post hurt as much as possible. Although that is the theme of every workout I create. I didn’t sign up to Q because someone asked me. Although its common throughout this crazy thing called F3Nation to ask someone to CoQ or Q a specific workout. I didn’t sign up to Q because I wanted to write this Back Blast. I can’t stand to write a Back Blast, although I do like to read them, often. I signed up to Q, because I don’t like to Q all the time.

I signed up to Q Terrapin because I don’t like to Q all the time. I don’t like leading it all the time and nor does anyone else. I’m not a fan of writing BB’s like I said earlier, but I do. It’s a responsibility we all have when we Q. But I’m not here to talk about BB’s. I signed up to Q Terrapin because I owe it to the guys that Q when I don’t. It’s about doing my part. In a capitalistic society like ours, nothing, not even a “free workout” is free. Consider it a gym membership you pay in sweat equity. If you have posted to 5 or more workouts, you need to Q. You owe it to the 5 guys that paid up so you could get better. A 5to1 ratio is an above average pace, but making sure you have a turn in the rotation is the cheapest and easiest way to pay it back, pay it forward, and remain invested in bettering yourself through F3. There’s not many reasons most of us can’t Q 3 times a month. There’s no reason you shouldn’t get excited about all the guys you made suffer trying to get up off the pot. Seriously, go sign up for a Q right now.

Mosey to grab one of the FOUR coupons left at Terrapin, and then mosey to the lower field by the Cambridge bridge.
In honor of the Gamecocks making it to the Final Four, the following will be performed:
At the far end from the parking lot perform 64 Chest Presses, then lunge walk to the bench, stopping at every tree(3) to perform 2 burpees each. Once at the bench, perform 10 decline merkins, then lunge walk back to the coupons stopping along the way to perform the Burpees at the trees. This time the chest presses are reduced to 32. All other work remains the same and the Chest Presses continue to lessen to 16, 8, and Finally 4.
Grab the coupons and mosey to a flat spot by the pull up bars.
Partner up and perform 3 rounds of each exercise before moving to the next.

This morning was a picture perfect morning for what F3 is. 6 guys showed up and through tough painful effort got better together. As always, I enjoyed sharing my time in the gloom with fine men such as these. Until next time….
