F3 Greenwood

YHC checked the radar this morning and saw that the rain was going to stay away for the most part so the BC plan was good to go. But, there was a back-up plan in case the weatherman was wrong. When YHC saw MaryAnn getting some early hill work in upon arrival to Terrapin (T-claps to him). And the regular crowd started rolling in – SouthernBelle, Tickle, Inspector, and then we had a Pusher sighting (great to see him back out there). And finally, at the last minute, Encinoman returned from the island.

As we were congregating in the parking lot, the heavens opened and we sprinted to the gazebo and YHC began to think of a modified workout but luckily, during the warm-up, the rain went away and we were able to go back to the original plan.

Disclaimer was given.

Warm-up

SSH x 25

Imperial Walkers x 20

The warm-up was cut short due to the break in the rain and we fast moseyed to the coupon pile and returned to the gazebo with a coupon.

The Thang – Pyramid work

After each exercise, lunge walk the length of the parking lot and perform the prescribed number of flutter kicks. Upon returning to the gazebo, perform the prescribed number of calf raises. We substituted runs up the 3 hills after 2 rounds of lunge walks due to to the rain going away in the middle of the BC.

25 thrusters – lunge walk – 50 flutter kicks – 50 calf raises

50 KB swings – lunge walk – 40 flutter kicks – 40 calf raises

75 curls to OH press – mosey to top of bridge – 30 flutter kicks – 30 calf raises

100 chest press with legs elevated – mosey to top of Charles Street – 20 flutter kicks – 20 calf raises

75 dips – mosey to Pascal’s – 10 flutter kicks – 10 calf raises

50 single arm bent over rows (25 each arm)

Prayer Requests

-Church in Texas after shooting yesterday

-Pusher’s mom is getting released from hospital today or tomorrow and will be transferred to rehab facility. Also, pray for Pusher’s sister who is going to stop working to take care of her.

-Pusher’s son graduated from Lander and is looking for a job.

NMS

-YHC is glad that the weather held off. The original workout used the hills more but that will be saved for another day.

-Great to see Pusher back in the gloom at Terrapin. Although, he did say that if the rain had come sooner, he would’ve probably fartsacked.

-4 PAX pushed through the BC with a vest on including YHC. YHC has just been started wearing a vest and it is a gamechanger. YHC suggests to PAX that want to continue to get stronger, invest in a vest and start to wear it. It takes the BC to a different level.

-Yesterday, Legacy City, where YHC goes to church, celebrated our 2 year birthday. In the world of planting churches, the 2 year mark is a big deal. He has provided for us to be able to continue to serve this city well and bring people to know Him. Our pastor shared that as we move into year 3, the word for the year is, “Advance”. YHC started to think about how this word should not only be the word of the year for Legacy City but for our lives. How every day, we should be advancing as husbands, fathers, and men for Him. If we are standing still, we are not advancing. So, the challenge is to keep on pushing forward and rely on your brothers in F3 to get you through those times when you feel like the wheels of life are just spinning.

Until next time,
