Conditions: 52 degrees, rainy, windy with sustained winds 27mph and gusts 47 mph

Crayola texts me on the way to Terrapin that we might want to move locations. At the same time, I’m stopped by blue lights removing a tree from Calhoun. Moving sounds like a good idea. The Twitterverse was informed. Onward to JCPenney!

I knew the weather was going to be a factor so already planned for gazebo work at Terrapin. The JCP entrance proved to be an acceptable alternative, but you got nothing but flat concrete, so so much for dips, inclined merkins, decline merkins, etc. Still got in the calf work that was planned and made a few modifications otherwise. “Squats for the 6” was primarily for Crayola, who I knew would always finish first, so had to keep him busy. While we left two lone Terrapin BC’ers out in the windy rain by themselves, we picked up 2-3of would-be runners I suspect by the change in location. Brut and Abba who HC’d were never heard from so a welfare check might be in order.

Work was done, hopefully enough to satisfy everyone. Too bad we had to end on the burpees, and never even go to the Bonnie Blairs. Maybe next time.

Appreciate all my brothers who faced the bad weather to come out for a gentle beatdown.
