F3 Greenwood

Weather was perfect for some Spartan Training.  Had several HC’s, got a text from Pusher-at 4:54am after he had HC’d saying he had a restless night and he wasn’t going to make it.  YHC didn’t respond.  6 minutes later Pusher replies- I’m coming, don’t leave the site without me.  Way to go Pusher!  YHC knows we all feel like that some mornings.  Heck, maybe every morning!  The best way to overcome that urge to fartsack is to remember your brothers that will be out there without you.  Enough- this is what we did.

The Thang!

Mosey to coupons, and carefully select one that you like! (you will be spending a lot of time together)

25 SSH in cadence (waiting on Pusher to return from retrieving a coupon)

25 manmakers
1 lap around the pull-up bars

3 rounds

Plank for the six

Mosey w/coupons to gazebo (perform these sets without putting the coupon down through all 3 rounds)
10 step ups each leg with coupon
20 overhead presses

3 rounds

50 curls ( completed while still holding coupon)

Mosey to the middle of field w/coupon  (continue to hold coupon through completion of 3 rounds)
10 Thrusters
Lunge walk with coupon to bench at playground
Mosey back to middle of field

3 rounds

Plank for the six.

30 pull-ups OYO

Do ab work when complete.

Return coupons, then circle up.  It was good to have a shovel flag at Terrapin today!

Wasn’t sure how the trip around the monkey bars was gonna work.  Until Uncle Jesse gave his approval YHC was thinking about scrapping it.  It proved to be a #crowdpleaser and a #shinbuster.  It would be much easier to make it all the way around if it was over a pit filled with Alligators.  But we may lose some pax if it was.  Strategy definitely was used during this workout as YHC saw various methods used to keep holding* the coupon.  Weaver used a lie on the table with coupon on belly method.  Mary Anne and Meatloaf used the coupon on the knee, foot on the bench method.  Some just held the thing.  And please all remember that YHC doesn’t count down in reps of an exercise, so quit asking!  Mega-work was put in today by all pax.  My pleasure to be able to lead this group of men.  BabyBlu out!
