– It. Was. Cold. Working with numb fingers on grip strength-heavy exercises was more challenging than the actual exercises. If you did get a little blood flowing back to the phalanges they ached something fierce. Burpees helped for some reason. ‘Bout the only thing burpees help with.
-I was inspired by Alpo’s Thundersticks that are moth-balled somewhere at Fury and I created the slosh sticks. Two five foot lengths of 4″ PVC pipe filled three quarters with water to ‘slosh’ when exercising. Takes squats to another level and really engages the core. I gifted them to Talon more out laziness than generosity, so have at em future Qs!
-Bucket carries suck as bad as a I remembered. I left those too.
-Excellent work by everyone that showed. Crayola and I were awkwardly milling about making small talk at one til when 8 other guys came in on two wheels. Good showing for such cold weather. Hope to have fun with boys and toys again soon.
-I reread that last sentence and see that it was a poor choice of words.
Respectfully yours,
Inspector
