With Alpo still on the IL, Special K asked YHC to Q this morning. YHC was in the mood to throw some blocks around so here is what was done. YHC also wanted to give our visitor from NJ a return to SC gift without killing him of course. Long story short, IPC almost killed, literally, Risky Business last year but much like Tom Cruise in Mission Impossible, he just can’t be killed and he posted this morning for some pain.
Disclaimer was given.

Goblet Squats – Vertical Chest Press – American Hammer
After completing each set, bearcrawl to big oak tree and then mosey the rest of the circle. Upon returning do 5 kraken burpees. (Most of us forgot the kraken burpees so we had to pay up at the end. There’s a reason why YHC planned on 5 at a time. 15 is A LOT.)
Abs to the 6.
Farmer carry coupon to pavilion and put it down. YHC held on to his block and we went to the wall by the bathroom. We assumed the wall sit position. When the block reached you, hold for a 5 count. While you were waiting for the block, do raise the roof. Block travelled down and back. Return to pavilion.

After each set, run the bleachers and the stairs on the backside (Future pain to be had here). Then do 5 kraken burpees.
Recover was called as everyone was finishing up. Coupons were returned.

When YHC pulled up, coming in hot, there was a truck in the front parking lot. YHC had never seen this truck and neither had Special K or Piddler. So, as we were about to start the warm-up, the truck pulled to the back and eventually the soon-to-be named Nomad hopped out. He stated that Tickle EHd him but Tickle was nowhere to be seen. Is there a term for someone who fartsacks on their EH? But eventually, much like a good brew, Tickle arrived.
Meet Nomad. He works radiology at Self Regional. Named Nomad because while he is from Greenwood, he has travelled to a lot of places and his M is from the islands.
Great to have Risky Business join us. Glad we didn’t actually kill him last year.
YHC shared Proverbs 22:6 (Msg): “Point your kids in the right direction – when they’re old they won’t be lost.” With YHC dropping Toothpick off yesterday at Lander, this has been on my mind lately. Did YHC teach him enough? Will he make good decisions? And all YHC can do is trust in Him. Easier said than done but for those of us who have 2.0s, that’s all we can do.
Until next time,
BenGay
