YHC probably tried way too hard to incorporate as many numbers that represent our great country in the workout and somewhere along the way, YHC forgot how to multiply. Oh well. 10 other studs joined YHC this morning and got their 4th of July started off with a bang.
Disclaimer was given.
Warm-up
-
SSH x 50 single count
13 burpees
Go get a coupon and bring it to the parking lot by the buses facing the school and partner up.
The Thang
-
1776 reps (or close to it) – 13 exercises for 136 reps combined as a team. PAX 1 does the work while PAX 2 runs around the island in the parking lot back to their partner. Partners flapjack and work continues.
-
1st 3 exercises – KB Swings, Squats, Merkins
13 burpees each
2nd 5 exercises – Big Boy Sit-ups, Curls, Lunges (hard way), OH Press, Monkey Humpers
13 burpees each
3rd 5 exercises – Gas Pumpers, Chest Press, Goblet Squats, American Hammers, Triceps Extensions
13 burpees each
YHC thought this added to 1776 but alas, only 1768. And this is why YHC doesn’t deal with numbers in his day job.
YHC thinks each tandem at least got to the American Hammers before time was called.
Recover was called and coupons were returned and we circled up at “Old Glory”.

Solid work put in this morning on a typical July SC morning. The work rate was great and the tunes were better. Don’t remember who brought the speaker but thanks. YHC needs to pick one of those up.
YHC loves to see the 2.0s coming out. And hopes they keep coming. Not that mine have any choice.
YHC prayed for peace for our great country and as men in our community, we need to continue to make a positive impact to those we come in contact with to see this change and His peace to come over Greenwood and beyond.
Until next time and Happy 4th,
BenGay
