8 Pax post this morning and wreaked havoc on the Battleship. After the dust settled 1 Pax had delivered the money shot and sank the Battleship.
Here’s how everything went down:
Conditions: 28 Degrees
Disclaimer: Given as a recap of the prescribed work was given.
1 minute to go time… “Let’s mosey to the bottom of the Concrete Monster.”
No time for a warm up.
Battleship:
6 trips up the Concrete Monster
After 6th trip up, complete the following as you make a lap around the school building:
30 merkins at top of C.M.
30 box jumps at benches in front of school
30 reverse crunches at flag pole
30 Capri Style Jungle Boy Squats at farthest light pole in student parking lot
30 Australian mountain climbers on wall
30 dips at benches on back patio of school
30 block curls at base of C.M.
For every subsequent round – reduce trips up the CM by 1 and reps by 5 at each station
Time called at 0700
Uncle Jesse sank the Battleship by completing all 6 rounds with several minutes remaining before time was called. He was followed by Flossy who completed all of the work only needing a minute or two of overtime. Impressive effort by both.

* Wanting to make sure we had every minute to work YHC arrived early to set out the coupons. Trav arrived about the same time. Then it seemed like an eternity before the next car pulled in. But before we headed to the starting line 6 Pax were present and accounted for.
* As we were begining our second lap along came Polly. Brining Judge Harry with him. Polly’s geritol took a little extra time to kick in and was late picking up the Judge. They both gave maximum effort to get caught back up. Tclaps for posting. Better late than never.
* As mentioned above, very impressive work put in by Uncle Jesse and Flossy for finishing all 6 rounds. Equally impressive was the effort put in by all other Pax. Pusher completed 5 full rounds which is a Battleship PR for him.
* Uncle Jesse was not satisfied with his dominate performance during the workout, so he decided to show his superior intellect by changing the order of the Name-o-rama. Sounds simple until you try it.
* Great 2nd F at Howard’s. Even had the privilege of Mr. Bean dropping by (he missed the boat on the workout). I think his main objective was to try to convince Uncle Jesse that he was going to work, but whatever the reason we enjoyed his company.
As always…
