With June’s Challenge being 10,000 Merkins and YHC admittedly being behind on the pace I chose to reuse a Merkin heavy workout that I’ve done a couple of times before. Knowing that not all Pax are doing the June Challenge I put out a preview tweet to inform (warn) the pax of what was coming.
17 pax had itchy Merkins and posted to get a good scratch on.

Prayer Request:
* Rocky is in ICU. Wife posted a positive update last night, but he still needs prayers.
* Special K’s daughter received good news from her test results (praise report), but will need surgery to remove the cyst.
* Kobayashi requested prayers to get back on track with his walk with Christ and getting back to being a positive example for him. We all could use prayer in this department.
NMS:
* Big numbers at the Shipyard this morning. Great to see the newer guys posting regular and getting after it. Also great to see some guys that have been posting to other AOs or who have been MIA for a period of time.
* Tclaps to Sunshine and Blue Print (who Q’ed Tsunami) for the Double Down. Helped motivate me to hang around as well.
* Tclaps to Pothole and anyone else who continues to post with nagging injuries. Remember there’s no shame in modifying something when necessary. Doing something is better than nothing.
* Today’s workout was all AMRAP. It’s easy to settle in and coast through this type of workout, but I didn’t see any of that today. Use today as a benchmark for where you are at and the next time you do a bunch of AMRAPS push yourself to improve on the work you did today.
As always…
Until the next Q
