YHCs creative juices have been flowing freely lately and decided to built a workout that was inspired by FurysRevenge that would allow pax to perform on a regular basis and hopefully be able to see progress made over time. What came from this brainstorming session will now be known as TheBattleship, and will be run every first Saturday of the month at TheShipyard.

19 pax, including 2 whom had originally posted at Fury and Strawberry doing some DR work, were privileged enough to set sail on the maiden voyage of TheBattleship.

6 trips up the ConcreteMonster
After 6th trip up, complete the following:
30 merkins at top of CM
30 box jumps at benches in front of school
30 reverse crunches at flag pole
30 Capri gorilla jumping squats at farthest light pole in student parking lot
30 Australian mountain climbers on wall – modify to regular if needed
30 dips at benches on back patio of school
30 block curls at base of CM

For every subsequent round – reduce trips up the CM by 1 and reps by 5 at each station

TheBattleship seemed to be an enjoyable test for the pax. UncleJesse and Duggar led the way completing 4 full laps and making it to box jump station of 5th lap. Will be interesting to see over time if anyone is able to sink TheBattleship.

The next sailing will occur October 1 and will serve as a nice 1st stage in a trifecta that day to also include the GeneticCenter convergence and RaceTheHelix 5k if you are so inclined for it.
