After almost 3 years and a few failed attempts; I have been given the reigns of Q for this great F3 region. I admit that I was nervous, and my exercise instructions were definitely choppy. In true F3 form, the mubblechatter response was funny yet somewhat cruel. I’d expect nothing less to be sure. We had 10 total Pax post, and while I was silently hoping for more; this ended up being the perfect number and we all enjoyed it and each other tremendously.
Disclaimer was provided and then we were off.
What we did:
- Partner up. Mosey down to grab a coupon. We swung back around w/ our coupon to the bottom of a brutal hill (I know it’s got to have a name!!!) and circled up.
- SSH x 10
- IW x 10 – warm enough! We’ve got to move
- With coupon, we played a game of ‘Catch me if you can’ around the back of EHS, up and around to the front main entrance (Thanks Duggar and Sugar for clarifications). 5 hand release merkins were done on the partner exchange.
- After arrival to the entrance and plank for the six, we moved on sans coupon back to the launch parking lot. At the top of the lot, instructions were as follows:
- Partner 1 will do a movement in the first parking space, move down to the next parking space and perform same movement, so on down each space until partner 2 returns to flapjack. While partner 1 does movements, partner 2 runs to the end of the parking lot and back to hand off.
- Here’s the twist: Once the partner doing the exercise movements gets to the halfway point from the end of the parking lot; the running partner reverses course and runs to the starting point. Simple enough????
- We did 2 rounds just to get the hang of it. Round 1: partner does burpees in each space. Round 2: partner does 2 x diamond merkins.
- After we worked out the kinks in the shorter parking lot; we took a quick mosey PAST the coupons to the bottom of the large parking lot for the final rounds. The large tree separating the top lot from the bottom was the halfway point for the running direction.
- Round 1: 5 x Monkey Humpers
- Round 2: 5 x Squats
- Round 3: 3 x Merkins
- Round 4: Broad Jumps
- We moseyed back up to our lonely coupons for some final work
- At the main entrance to the school there are 3 covered walkways. With your back to the school there’s 1 to the left parallel, one perpendicular, and the last to the right parallel to the school. Here we did our final partner work.
- Partner 1 ran to the left walkway to the end of the awning and did 20 LBC. While partner 2 waited at the entrance, he did curls with the coupon. Flapjack
- Partner 1 then ran to the end of the front awning and did 20 flutter kicks. Partner 2 did overhead press. Flapjack
- Partner 1 ran to the right end and did 20 dolly. Partner 2 did tricep extensions.
- Final exercise was 10 x bicep curls, 10 x overhead press, 10 x tricep extensions, 10 Triple Lindy (one complete movement involving a bicep curl into an overhead press into a tricep extension).
- For the last few minutes we returned our coupons to their stack.
- DONE! – let’s go to breakfast at Howards.
Ye Ole’ Moleskin:
- Great mumble-chatter this morning. A lot of funny moments. It’s a good workout when you have strong 2ndF throughout. I’d list out some moments, but you should have been there.
- Thankful Sunshine partnered with me – he was carrying the Q up and down the lot. #LongStride.
- Everyone pushed hard and earned breakfast at Howards. Almost all who posted ended up there. For those that slept in – I still love you but Saturday’s are key – 2nd F at Howards has to be a requirement
- Welcome FNG – Roadhouse. War Daddy and Respect – he was killing it on his 1st #SpartanFuture
- Thank you guys for your continued hospitality. I absolutely love seeing you guys. It means as much to me as being on the lake (#truth). Thank you for the opportunity to lead.
