Pulled in to an empty parking lot. Thoughts of being the only PAX crossed my mind. But what am I thinking?!? I had 2 HC’s from Meter Maid and Pusher! And Pusher, out of the kindness of his heart, withdrew his HC for Fury to come help the numbers at Shipyard. That guy is always living 3rd. Well, it’s 5:14 and its just me, T-Rav, and the ever so loyal Shipyard AOQ, Beano. Well, let’s get a warmup in while we wait on Meter and Pusher.

Warmup- Not for speed, but slow, deep, and focused on proper form.

Warmup is over. Quick scan of the parking lot for Meter Maid and Pusher……nothing. I’m sure there is a legitimate explanation for their absence.

Garb a coupon and meet at the bottom of the concrete monster.

The Thang:

In bearcrawl position, drag the coupon up the concrete monster alternating arms.

At the top, 50 reverse crunches.

Rifle carry the coupon down the concrete monster.

At the bottom, do 50 Freddie Mercury’s counting 1 leg.

Drag back up the concrete monster.

At the top, 50 flutter kicks.

Rifle carry the coupon down the concrete monster.

At the bottom, do 50 LBC’s.

Rifle carry to the patio area up the hill behind the school.

Chicken Peckers- Balls to the wall with alternating shoulder taps. 4 count with each shoulder tapped is one.

Mosey back to the bottom of the concrete monster. Start rifle carry when we get to the patio benches.

Howling Monkeys-

Circle up. Three PAX is a small circle. Would have been better with 5, but we won’t go there. Each PAX assume Monkey Humper start position. PAX 1 does 10 Monkey Humpers, then the next PAX does 10 Monkey Humpers while all other PAX hold starting position. We performed 6 rounds. They should have named this Screaming Monkeys, because we could barely stand up.

We have a few mintes left for some Angle Grinder Merkins. Assume Merkin start position. Take one hand and tap the alternating knee then do a merkin. Two knee taps and two merkins equals 1 Angle Grinder Merkin.

Announcements- Saturday workout is at Fury with Uncle Jesse and ALpo on Q. 2.0 workout afterward at 0800 at Fury also with Uncle Jesse on Q.

No prayer requests or praise reports, but we all have our own struggles and blessings to give to God.

BOM- YHC prayed us out.

NMM- We don’t actually know what happened to Pusher, but we did hear that Meter Maid woke up and didn’t know what day it was. Hey, it happens to the best of us. I did, however, enjoy the small group we had today. T-Rav and Beano worked like there were 30 PAX there. I hope I pushed them to get better this morning. I know that I gave 100% because they were there to push me. I guess everyone else will have to post another time to experience rifles, Chicken Peckers, and Howling Monkeys.
