YHC did not have a prepared Devo but the partner aspect of the workout brought this to mind…
Working with a partner or as a team always seems to make the work go easier. You have more confidence knowing you have backup, you push yourself harder knowing someone is depending on you, and the workload just doesn’t seem as daunting when you have a partner helping out. This concept can be used in our walk with Christ as well. If you try to complete the task God has set for you on your own you will quickly become discouraged and will either end up quiting or failing miserably. But if we look to Christ for help and we lean on him we can accomplish amazing feats.
Philippians 4:13
I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

NMS:
* YHC realised when the Pax started showing up that it had been too long since he had posted at the Shipyard. YHC didn’t know the majority of the Pax. Good news of that is that means F3 The Wood is growing.
* YHC gave the disclaimer in such a manner that it raised concerns with Judge Judy of the difficulty of the workout. Never the less he went out and breezed through it like Sunday morning.
* YHC knew all was right at the Yard when we finally herd the siren call of Shaggy splashing merlot. That began the debate of which Q was the culprit… BBQ or MM’s Q
* The fireman’s carry became a crowd favorite. Turns out there’s no way to cheat that.
* The Merkins every 5 minutes also became a crowd favorite. So much so that YHC was afraid to leave the alarm clock unattended.
* YHC thanks Uncle Jesse for calling in plan B. Enjoyed administering the beat down at the Yard.
As usual it’s an honor to lead this group of men.
Until the next Q
Meter Maid is out
