YHC was anxious to get back to the gloom. Misssed all last week with that stuuf that haunts several of us- “The Crud”. Pulled in the parking lot about 10 minutes prior to cranking this thing up. Lot of cars, but only a few pax. As 5:15 approached 8 pax were ready for the challenge.
Conditions were humid, about 60 degrees. The ground was wet from an earlier shower.
Disclaimer was given along with one minute warning. One pax suggested a one minute notice, said that a warning sounded too harsh. Duly noted.
This is what we did:
COP
SSH 15 IC
Windmills 15 IC
Air Squats 15 OYO
Main Thang:
Indian run to the far cover of the campus- edge of the student parking lot.
Once there we completed the following:

40 Merkins OYO
50 Merkins OYO
40 Merkins OYO

10 Merkins OYO
Indian run to the bottom of the concrete monster.
We then played 11’s on the monster.
run to the top of monster perform 1 squat, return to the bottom and perform 10 burpees. adding a squat at the top each trip, and reducing by 1 the burpees at the bottom.
Time was called as Sunshine, who killed it BTW completed the 1 burpee rep.

NMS:
YHC was struggling today after being out all week. Thank you to all the pax for the push. Once Sunshine got through the merkins, the monster work was in his wheelhouse! Great work! Special K was right behind him, pushing through the monster. Great to see Boo and Mr. Belding and of course all the shipyard regulars. The 250 merkins were a #crowdpleaser. There was a sigh of relief when immediately following the 50 merkins, YHC called “40 Merkins on your own.” Several pax mumbled, “thank goodness he didnt say 60!” It was good seeing Chubbs, although I nearly didn’t recognize him without the tights.
There was a phantom appearance by Pusher on the monster, suddenly he’s there, then he’s gone.
As always men, a pleasure to put in work with you in the gloom.
Baby Blu out!
