NMS:
* Great effort put out by all Pax this morning. It’s not easy chosing to roll out of the bed to go workout in low 20 degree weather. I appreciate the 4 guys that made that choice.
* It didn’t take long for the Merkinman himself, Baby Blu, to display his dominance. He grabbed the lead early on during the first set. Flossy took notice and took the lead over during the second set. It was then that Blu kicked in the afterburners and took the lead back during the 3rd set. It was during this set that I heard Flossy say to Blu, “Mad props Blu”. Let’s break this statement down. Of course the props are given because at 58 this All American Athlete still runs out front at most workouts. The mad part comes from those of us who are made because we can’t keep up.
* It was great to see Sunshine post this morning. Not the big ball of sun that is supposed to bring warmth, but the tall Sunshine that brings max effort at every workout. I have seen him since he slayed the Red Friday workout a couple of weeks ago.
* It was also great to see Tickle again this morning. He has become one of the most consistent Shipyard posters and with the current AOQ out of town the Yard couldn’t be left in better hands.
* As we wrapped up the workout and headed towards the shovel flag, we couldn’t help but notice the snooze button gang hanging around. I’m sure to an outsider, we looked like 2 rival gangs getting ready to throw down over a turf war. Luckily for the Tsunami Snoozers we had just completed the hardest part of our day and we weren’t looking to show anyone up. Instead we converged for a little joint COT.

As always…
