This morning’s Q was delivered via a carrier pigeon driving a white Toyota 4-runner. First thing I was told was “I have good news and I have bad news”. I automatically assumed it had something to do with the Nov Spartan race that Uncle Jessie is trying to recruit PAX for and that he was going to tell me that I had to run the Beast instead of the Sprint for my first Spartan race. Lucky for me it wasn’t about the race but about the Q. I was handed a piece of paper with a laid out Q and asked if I could handle it due to his ailing back. YHC obliged and told him not to worry about it. I quickly looked the Q over and my first thought was I wish I had worn my running shoes. A lot of thought was put into altering the Q. But I decided to stick with it and do it for Uncle Jessie and his bad back.
All PAX pushed hard, work was done and all got better. And kudos to Pusher for jumping in before his Tsunami Q and getting in some early work.

If any of you had told me two months ago that I would be posting 5 days a week at 5:15 in the morning to not go hunting but to workout, that I would be leading a group of guys in a workout, running 15+ miles a week, signing up to run races or looking forward to doing a Spartan race. I would have rolled my eyes and laughed at you. Which I probably did laugh at Meter Maid and Meatloaf a time or two when they would tell me about F3 in the past. But, I can honestly say that I have enjoyed every minute of it and look forward to many more mornings in the gloom with a great group of guys. As I was told on FNG day numerous times “It doesn’t get any easier, but you will get better”. Or something along like that.

Final 2 cents worth added by Meter Maid:
It was great to see Bean-O step up and take the Q this morning. Would have been real easy to hand it off to someone else, a little longer in the tooth, that showed up after Uncle Jesse left. We need more guys to step up to Q. Everyone pitching in to do their part is what will make F3 Greenwood strong. If there’s any Pax that feel like they are ready to step up, but just aren’t sure where or how to get started ask one of the AOQs. Or anyone else who Q’s on a regular basis. We can help you get started, plan the work out, or even CoQ with you to guide you through the process. Of course it’s not Rocket Science. If I can do it, any of you can do it.

Great Job Bean-O. Looking forward to posting at your next Q (where you have a chance to actually create the workout).
