F3 Greenwood

9 pax broke the pull of a cold Monday morning #Fartsack and showed up for week #2 of #Hustle. YHC devised a nice simple but possibly brutal intro to the track at Shipyard. The pax have the “need for speed” and this is how we get it. Let’s roll!

Disclaimer (In route to the track! Off my game to start……YHC woke up a little tired and cranky with a sick one at home in bed who visited a few times during the night.)

The Main Thang

4 lap or 1 mile warm-up

The main part of the work out is alternating 400’s. One fast/ one slow. Repeato…….

Great work by the pax on the “track to tough to tame”! Nascar reference during the run brought this phrase into play. Track/speed work brings an entirely new dimension in for F3 Greenwood. Just like the hills……track work is monotonous but if you push yourself, gains will be made in getting faster run splits. Basically, if your lungs and legs burn you are doing it right! I know mine were!

Meatloaf commented that he totally underestimated track work. #gamechanger

Alpo came in a little tardy but no worries he showed up anyway!

Despite being off the roads, most of the pax, wore brighter or even reflective clothing. Gotta be seen on the track or you may get run over by one of your brothers! Rubbin’s racin! The Ship Track is definitely dark and perfectly gloomy! YHC chose to go stealthy and All Black…..that was for you Meatloaf! “3” who no doubt is your inspiration for driving! #Intimidator

Once again great work by the pax…..looking forward to seeing the improvements #Hustle will make on our run times! Keep pushing to get better and pushing each other! #tclaps Aye!
