10 pax posted for the inaugural route of The Elvis Express. Hip flexors were tested. Work was done.

It has been a while, like never, since YHC has Q’d the Hills run. Over the past month new routes have been used to break up the ups and downs of running hills. Using this same creativity YHC remembered a nasty little hill from his days of misspent youth not too far away, so a plan began to take shape.

Conditions – Humid 58 degrees with a light sprinkle

Disclaimer – I am not a professional, and watch out for cars.

– “Alpo, I really don’t like you right now!” “Alpo, your hills suck!” Once returning to the fountain, “Alpo, ok I like you again.”
– Thumper tried to go XL on the Express! We had to call him back, like Forest he was taking his football and leaving the stadium.
– YHC almost got hit by a driver more interested in texting than driving. WTC!!??!!

It was a good time. The ol’hip flexors were beat going up and down the hills. The men put in serious work both on the Express and on the backwards runs. It was and honor and a pleasure.
