Conditions – finally felt like summer. 65 degrees and warm.
34 PAX woke up and decided to get better. Some PAX showed up early and went XL. Other’s showed up and started at our regular 5:15 time. Some did a 5K, some did an 8K, some did a 10K, some just walked (including YHC), but, we all DID get better.
Disclaimer was given and we all did our thing. Some people did their thing faster than others, but things were still done.
As we were gathered in our circle after the run, we did 22 Merkins to being awareness to suicide with our Veterans. On average, 22 vets per day commit suicide. YHC reminded everyone that the suicide rate in this nation has increased 60% in the last 30 years and that it is an epidemic.
