When I think about an antelope, it’s often times standing alongside many others just like him.  Maybe they’re on the side of hill or in a large grassy meadow.  At some point they begin to run.  Was it initiated by one single antelope and all the rest just decide to fall in?  Was it a large noise like thunder, or maybe the sight of a predator?  Whatever the reason, at some point they begin to run.  Breaking off into smaller groups and running into all directions.  They run as fast as their hearts and hooves can take them.  And then they stop.  Usually this occurs at some defined or undefined gathering place.  Maybe they count to 32 say a prayer and have some coffee.  One of my favorite bands has a song called Run Like An Antelope.  I sometimes use it to help me get through the gut busting slug that seemingly everyone of my runs has…..run, run, run, run, run, run, run, run, run, run, run, run, run like an antelope outta control!  I posted it here so you too can use it if you’d like.  Either way, antelopes or pax, whether one decides to start and we all follow, or some strange and twisted magic has us all deciding to start at the same time, we run.  We run like antelopes outta control.  Guaranteed though that the antelopes don’t forget The Disclaimer.  And they most certainly do not spill coffee on Flossy’s new shoes!  I had a great time this morning both running and 2ndF’ing.  I hope to see you there again next week!
