With the BRR looming and several Pax wanting to hit as many hills as possible on run days YHC threw an invite to an “Unofficial” AO to run the hills in Hunter’s Creek. It was quickly pointed out that YHC used incorrect terminology when “Rouge” was in the description instead of “Rogue”. But after 14 Pax decided to post you have to ask yourself the following questions: Was this a simple mistake by someone typing quickly so they could hurry up and cut grass in the rain, was YHC a victim of the dreaded cell phone “auto correct”, or was this merely a Marketing 101 ploy where YHC uses an obvious snafu to draw attention to his invitation? (YHC purposely left out plumb ignorance as an option)
No matter which answer you are leaning towards the end result speaks for itself as 14 Pax made their way to the Hunter’s Creek Clubhouse parking lot to test their limits on the East Side Hills.
Disclaimer: given
Route:
Left onto H.C. Blvd
Left onto Gentry Run
Right onto Fairway Lakes (run the full circle)
Left onto Gentry Run
Left onto H.C. Blvd
Left onto Sand Trap Lane (beware of strategically placed “imaginary” speed bumps)
Left onto H.C. Blvd (Circle around Island at the Woodlawn Road Entrance)
Left onto Tally Ho Lane (run to the end of the Cul De Sac and turn around)
Left onto H.C. Blvd and run back to the Clubhouse parking lot
This route will gives you 5.5 miles and approximately 350′ of elevation gain. A mere ant hill compared to some of the BRR legs but a still solid test .

NMS:
* YHC figured to have 4 or 5 Pax accept the invitation, but was pleasantly surprised at the turn out.
* As we began our route we encounter the “Original Rogue One” guys. Look’s like a strong duo right there. May need to get them in the lead off spot.
* As we made the turn onto Fairway Lakes we encountered another pair running with a furious attack dog. Good thing it ended up being Hysteria and Bo Diddly. Prevented a mauling. But brings up the question, why aren’t these 2 guys running the BRR. That’s another strong duo.
* As we were coming down the finishing stretch we encountered one last duo. Turned out to be Hooker (Keith Coker, not a real Hooker) and Red Tee. Hopefully while these two guys were walking they noticed how much fun the rest of us were having and decide to start back posting.
* And the last encounter, but in no way the least amusing, (at least to us sarcastically humerus guys) was the encounter Spud had with the speed bump on Sand Trap Lane. Don’t bother thinking that Sand Trap Lane doesn’t have any speed bumps. Because if it doesn’t the only other logical explanation was that Spud got really mad at the asphalt and decided to give it a punishing “Big Splash”, (a wrestling move where the wrestler jumps from the top rope onto his opponent). By the way, Pot Hole, can you get someone out there to fix the damage done by Stud Spud?
As always, it’s an honor to lead this group. Even if it’s from an “unofficial” AO and YHC didn’t do any “real” leading.
Until the next Q,
