8 pax posted to a foggy, misty, rainy Hills Are Alive to do some work. All got better.
After posting 3 of 4 Friday’s at the Hills and not running the original route, YHC thought it was time to get back to the roots of the workout.
Conditions
61 degrees and foggy, then it started to mist, and finally it started to rain.
Disclaimer
YHC pulled up with 2 minutes to spare, barked out the disclaimer, the route, and a courtesy “Any questions?” Then we were off.
The THANG
Run North down Montague until “X Intersection” marks the spot. Hang a left by the Rite Aid onto Cambridge. Run to the other end of the bridge, turn around and on the way down, turn left onto Charles St. Run to the end where it intersects with Montague, turn around and run back to Cambridge. Turn left back onto Cambridge and run up the hill to Pascal’s. This completes one lap. Rinse and Repeat until time is called. On the way back, stop at the last entrance to the Montague’s parking lot (just before the train tracks) and run forward to the building, then run backwards to the curb. Rinse and Repeat for 5 rds.

NMM
-YHC hit the ground running and took the groggy pax off guard from the get go.
-Runnin the old school route with the kicker! All the pax were supportive to each other during the run.
-A heavy mist was upon us for most of the workout which added to a unique ambiance in the gloom. It was warm enough that it was welcome, even the rain at the end of the workout was a welcome relief and distraction from the calf killer.
Rain or shine, it is always an honor to work with these men.
