YHC being a huge Zepplin fan invited the PAX to get the LED out and dubbed a new #hillsarealive route Misty Mountain Hop for his VQ.

YHC’s VQ starts a little stressful with a game of chicken between a PAX and an 18 wheeler. Fortunately there were no losers but said PAX gets the “Mickey Mouse” move of the day. The adventure continued when multiple, fast moving, lights flashing police cruisers suddenly came from several streets increasing the tension…don’t know the reason. Didn’t hear a lot of mumblechatter as we were kinda spread out but the route seemed to be a “do again” among the PAX.

We also, unfortunately, learned some hard truths about runin….those being that sometimes we fall, sometimes we have strains, sprains and pains beyond our control, there are holes and cracks and rough spots, hills and valleys…runin is hard…runin is life and in life we pick ourselves up and carry on, or we rest and heal, or if we need it there is an F3 brother to offer a ride….
