23 Pax posted at different times, at different paces, for different distances…all got better.
YHC passed a few early departees and arrived to a quickly filling parking lot.
Conditions: 31 Degrees. Cool, no wind, clear….but allergies are creeping in quickly (my nose can tell).
Disclaimer: Given, details explained to FNG, be careful out there.
The work:
Leave when you want, run the route that you want, run the pace that you want, and the distance that you want. One group shot out like a cannon, many dispersed in different directions…all arrived safely back, and a few rolled in a little after 6am making the Count-o-rama a challenge for an already challenged mind.
COT:
Count-o-rama:
Name-o-rama: Welcome FNG Tinker Bell (Lucas Darling)
Announcements:
* Saturday’s workout is at the Epicenter. Pusher on the Q.
* For those participating in March Madness, you can gain extra points by EHing a new Pax. An extra point for each time he posts this week.
Prayer Requests:
* YHC shared how, as men, we try to be strong for our families and don’t like to open up to others. Each BOM it becomes even more apparent when little, if anything, deeply personal is shared. Large groups do not elicit personal accounts of our needs. It is important to find a small circle of trust where you can be yourself and share your burdens. YHC encouraged men to seek other men to create a small circle of trust.
BOM
*YHC split PAX into groups of 3-4 to share prayer needs. By the feedback I received today, this method seemed effective at encouraging good dialogue among PAX. At the end, each small group gathered up and one PAX lifted their small group up in prayer.
*Continued prayers for Thumper’s family, Ellenberg family, and others suffering recent loss
*Continued prayers for PAX who are sidelined with injuries…keep your chin up and get back soon
NMS:
* Good to see such a big crowd out, either to get points for March Madness or to get better. Am sure there was some of both…great work men!
