10 PAX tackled the Hills this morning. This was YHC’s first venture out to the Hills and obviously first time Q’ing there. The song that immediately came to mind for this run is posted above from a great blues/rock band The North Mississippi All-stars. Luther Dickinson wrote this tune for his late father, Jim Dickinson. Not only does this song have relevance to our venture up and down the hills, but also really hits home with the passing of Pothole’s father earlier this week. His family certainly is in our thoughts and prayers.
“Rest easy partner, your troubles shall now cease, rest easy partner, may you rest in peace”
“The Thang”
Meet at fountain, mosey to Pascal’s and run from there down hill then up Cambridge Ave bridge and turn around and back to start. Repeat for 30 minutes and then mosey back to fountain. About 40 mins in total.
