F3 Greenwood

Conditions: REAL FREAKING COLD!

I pulled out of my driveway this morning and realized that I had left my sweatshirt on a chair by the door. No time to go back to get it. I was cutting it close to get to EHS by 5:15. I knew that it would not take long to warm up, though. Today’s workout would get the heart rate up and warm up the blood quickly.

Hustle numbers have suffered lately. Long distance, Sunday runs have become more popular, especially with our Swamp Rabbit Half runners, so most have used Mondays to recover. Well, that race has come and gone and now it’s time for a revival of one of the best run workouts we have here at F3Greenwood, #Hustle. I was pleased to see five other PAX, including an FNG waiting for me in the EHS parking lot when I pulled up with just a couple minutes to spare before launch time.

Disclaimer given and down to the track we went.

REDLINE 1600m, Cool down 400m

PAX continued to run laps at their own pace as we waited for the 6.

With about 5 minutes left, we headed up to the Concrete Monster to wrap up with some hill sprints.

NMM:

It was encouraging to see a few PAX at Hustle today. If you have not yet made an appearance (and you know who you are!), you should. It will make a difference in your speed and endurance.

There are several PAX who have gone MIA lately, and we need to reach out to them and EH back into the gloom. Reach out to a couple and let them know that they are missed. Let’s get our numbers back up and continue to grow F3 Greenwood.

As always, I am thankful for the opportunity to lead a workout and serve my fellow PAX.
