It is always a good morning to get one’s Hustle on, especially on an early Monday morning.  There is no better way to start the week in the gloom than on the track at Hustle.

I was glad to see 2 other pax decided to post today and join me for some sprints and lap repeats.

Disclaimer given at 5:15 and  off we went to the  track.

The Thang:

1 mile warm-up

80 yd sprint repeats- 5 rounds of sprints on the track from one end of the stands to the other end and then back. About 30 secs of recovery between each sprint. 10 sprints total.

Cool down lap

10 mins of Lap repeats- Go easy in the turns and push it in the straight-away

Mosey back up to the parking lot for a few minutes of core work to finish: 1 minute plank, 1 minute LBCs, 1 minute flutter kicks

We had some time to hang out and talk a little today and it’s not something we get to do often enough. It was nice to be able to talk about the struggles of parenting and how to make sure our children don’t make some of the same mistakes that we made in our youth. It really is nice to have  men at different stages in the parenting journey to share concerns and get some advice from.

Thanks to Pusher and Meter Maid for posting today and joining me in the gloom. There were other places you could have posted and I’m grateful you chose to post at Hustle. It was a great way to kick off a Monday morning.
