F3 Greenwood

Conditions: Cool, but a perfect morning for a good run.

As the new Run Q, one of my responsibilities is to make sure all runs have a Q. After Sugar asked for a substitute to cover for him as he nurses injury in preparation for the Kiawah Half and no one volunteered to cover for him, I knew I would have the honor of starting my week at Hustle. I have become a big fan of the Hustle workouts. The variety of work that is done keeps running fresh and interesting. If you have not made a trip to Hustle on Monday mornings, I would encourage each and every PAX of F3 Greenwood to make a point to post there in the near future.

On the menu for today was an Out and Back Fartlek. PAX choice on how long or how far to redline and recover.

Disclaimer Given at 5:15 and off we went to return to EHS at 6:00

All PAX returned after covering various distances.

Some good conversation about posting consistently this morning as the early returners waited on the rest. The Fartsack is a tempting mistress this time of year. Don’t let nagging aches and pains along with the comfort of her warm embrace keep you from getting out in the gloom and getting better.

Good luck to all of those who are running in the Kiawah Half and Full Marathons in a couple weeks. You are representing all of us back home in Greenwood. We are proud of the hard work each and every one of you have put in.

Thank you for the opportunity to lead and serve today.
