Conditions: Not Quite Fall Yet
When YHC arrived at the fountain, he thought the crowd looked a little thin given the number of cars that filled the lot. For a few minutes, it seemed as though there was a much larger early-start crowd than the one queuing up to run some hills. But with five minutes to go, more pax cruised in, and the numbers were surprisingly high.
Before we got started, YHC mentioned that the day’s run was in honor of the 18 killed and 73 wounded in Mogadishu in 1993. The pax were encouraged to push a little harder to show appreciation for all those who put their lives on the line to provide our continued safety.
All the chatter about the P200 must have stirred the masses. When all was said and done, 17 pax hit the streets for a variety routes and distances. But the planned work took us to the hills.
