NMM- Awesome morning to show up to honor one of our fallen heroes. 5 studs joined me in this effort to to the harder thing as a gesture of gratitude for the ultimate sacrifice that Staff Sgt. Maupin paid for his country. Work was done. Sweat equity was laid down. Crayola did his usual and took off in the lead and gave himself a poop buffer ahead of the pack that he had to cash in on pretty early. BenGay and Abacadaba weren’t far behind him. At some point Abacadaba’s pre-workout, or time released methamphetamine, kicked in and he took off. This is a testament to his consistency. A little over 18 weeks ago when we began our marathon training, he had just begun posting pretty regularly. The improvement over that time has been substantial. Good work Abacadaba. Keep at it. Me and Tootsie Roll are still in our transitions back to bootcampers from skinny runners. For me, it’s been almost like starting all over. Mary Anne decided to skip the Y today and join his brothers in the gloom. He’s been picking up on too many bad habits there. In this season of Thanksgiving, I am thankful for the sacrifices these men and women have made for me and our great country. I am also thankful for my F3 brothers that I do life with every single day. I know they are going to be beside me in the gloom to get me through the beatdown that is coming over the next 45 minutes to an hour, but they are also going to be beside me through the beatdowns life throws at me. That’s what gets me up when that alarm goes off. See y’all in the morning. Love you guys!
Southern Belle is hanging up…
