It was a cold morning, around 24 deg as 3 pax gathered to honor the heroes of Pearl Harbor. This year marked the 75th anniversary of the attack by the Japanese Imperial Navy on Pearl Harbor. Early Sunday morning, on Dec 7th 1941, hundreds of Japanese planes took off from air craft carriers in the Pacific Ocean an bombed Hawaii. Killing over 2400 service men, sinking 4 battleships and many other smaller watercraft, and damaging many other ships and planes. Today YHC wanted to honor the men and women from Pearl Harbor- those who perished and those who survived.
The pax were few, but the work was mighty!

Pacer and Sour always are up to the challenge and work was done. Much encouragement was given by each pax. I was expecting Juggarnaut to be in attendance, after consulting him for the workout. The workout was going to consist of a 2400 meter run to kick it off, but YHCs knee was a little sore from the run on Wednesday, so we left it out- good thing plenty of work was done.
World War II has always been of tremendous interest to YHC. Pearl Harbor was the entrance into the war. It was really the first time in modern history that war wasnt declared before an attack was made. As Roosevelt said, “This day will go down in infamy.”
