The Thang
Meet at the Coast Guard Station at 0530. We’ll be shuttled to the Entrance to the Island where will will partake in a brutal beatdown! Then we’ll run with Ernie (approx 6:30am) back to the Coast Guard Station! Roughly 4.5 miles. (So sign up for a virtual 5k and you can get a medal!)
Obvisouly Ernie’s pace isn’t brisk, so invite any and everyone to run; M’s, 2.0’s, parents, etc. take this opportunity to EH a coworker or friend to the workout. I’ll buy a 12 pack for the Pax with the most FNG’s that partake in the double down!
After the race there will be a celebration on the beach from 8:30-9:30. Also there will be a lunch reception at American Legion Post 166 on the island from 12:00-15:00. All are invited.
Spread the word for this WW2 Vet doing the unimaginable!
