The Lexington region is hosting it’s first annual charity 5K to raise money for our own Shake and Bake who has been nominated for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Man of the Year award. This race will be a no-entry-fee donations-only event and all proceeds go directly to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society in support of Shake and Bake’s fundraising effort. We understand that there will be conflicts with Pax schedules but we humbly ask that you consider at least making a donation if you are able to. YHC is also asking for sponsors now. The sponsor money will go toward awards, t-shirts and patches or food and beverages depending on the amount of sponsor money raised. No donations will go towards these things they will only be supported if we get sponsors. The race will be on the Timmerman Trail in Cayce which is a beautiful, completely paved trail with plenty of twists and turns and moderate amount of elevation change. This will be a family fun event and we are inviting all F3 and FIA pax and their families.
