The Thang

Part 1: At Gazebo for a pair of 21-15-9’s.  Round 1 consisted of Dips, Decline Merkins, Leg Raises  Round 2 consisted of Step-ups (hard way), Burpees, Big Boy Sit-ups.

Next up was 2 Rounds of 25 Goblet Squats, 25 Curls, 25 🇺🇸 🔨 (hard way). Crayola and BG were killing it, YHC hustling to keep up at this point.  Mosey down to Lake Fury track.

Part 2: Relay style work around Lake Fury.  PAX 1 does 10 Overhead Press w/coupon as remaining PAX mosey to first corner and upon arrival perform Merkins until Coupon arrives.  Pass the coupon and repeat to second corner where Squats done until Coupon arrives.  Pass coupon and repeat to third corner where Calf Raises done until Coupon arrives.  Pass Coupon and repeato until all PAX had the coupon twice.
It was at this point we quickly learned to clear the runway for takeoff, as Crayola smoked us to the corner carrying the coupon before we got there   both times he had the “baton”.  Mosey back to Gazebo for the final assault.

Part 3: AMRAP of the following—20 Dips, 30 Merkins, 30 LBC’s, 20 Squats.  Strong uptick in Mumblechatter occurred here thanks to the dip/merkin combo back to back. Small r recover called, mosey to return the coupons.
About a minute left, all PAX did 5 pull-ups and Recover called.

We circled up, counted and named.

Prayer Requests

YHC M had a friend involved in an MVA. Caught fire and hit guard rail. Physically should heal up well, emotionally struggling.

Crayola and fellow coaches making tough calls and harder conversations trimming down the rosters.

Crayola had a friend who had cabinetry fall on them, extensive head wounds.

YHC read 2 Kings 20:5 and prayed us out.

NMM

YHC was honored to leave today’s bootcamp with the Fury Shovel Flag in his trunk. YHC hopes he can continue the tradition of epic beatdowns delivered at this AO, and do the men of F3 Greenwood proud here. All men busted it today, some serious sweat equity was dropped in the Gazebo and around the lake today. Thankful for those that showed, and as always, an honor to have lead them in the gloom. Until next time, Brut is out.
