I’ve got 5 on it

5 PAX made the decision that Fury was the place to be this morning.  With a solid group of 5, YHC knew that work would be done.  We went with a  similar routine to one that I developed and implemented back in February.  I was anxious to see how we compared.

Here is how it went down:

The Thang

Warm up – 25 SSH OYO

Each PAX grab a coupon (coupon stays with you entire trip)

Mosey to Stop Sign at Fury Rd and Laurel. 30 KB Swings

Mosey to Dentist Office – 30 Thrusters

Mosey to old CPW – 50 Monkey Humpers

Mosey to Redlight with Coupon in rifle carry position

– 8 Lightpoles

  • 1 – 10 decline merkins
  • 2 – 10 incline merkins
  • 3 – 10 man-makers
  • 4 – Jump over coupon forward then backwards (two jumps is one rep) – 10reps
  • 5 – Jump over coupon side to side (two jumps is one rep) – 10 reps
  • 6 – 10 jump lunges. 2 jumps = 1 rep
  • 7 – 10 man-makers
  • 8 – 20 incline merkins

Mosey to Fury Road.

Complete the following work in order.  After 50 reps, mosey with coupon to first entrance of Merrywood and back.  Pick up where you left off.

50 –Flutter Kicks, 100 – Curls, 150 – Bench Presses

Line up for Indian run with coupon all the way back to Flag with no break.

Return coupon and perform 10 pull-ups OYO.

COT/BOM

  • Bambi made his first Fury appearance.  He had trouble finding the AO, but performed extremely well.  Definitely Fury material.
  • Sour was struggling a bit.  Not only did he catch a line drive to the Nutsack last night, he somehow managed to get into ants while lying in the middle of Fury Road!
  • We passed the Jesus Flag waving gentleman on the bypass.  We all exchanged pleasantries.  Keep him and others in your thoughts.
  • We also passed 3 rogue female runners on the opposite side of the bypass at just about the same time as Jesus Flag man.  I attempted contact with the rogue three, but my efforts were not reciprocated.
  • You know your gloves stink when the PAX look forward to the garbage truck drive-by just to get a brief reprieve.  Alpo had some serious funk working.
  • We completed coupon Indian run up Fury Rd without anyone stopping.  Awesome.
