5 pax went suicidal on Fury Rd. with Big Boy Bricks. Pain was administered!
YHC has been eyeballing those bricks at every workout since some wonderful person brought them, chomping at the bit to say something to the Q’s about using them, but ultimately keeping quiet to wait for just the right day to strike. Well today was that day. And as an aside, YHC likes to think that the pain is brought in truck loads at all of his Q’s. This may or may not be correct, but today, YHC had to ask for 2 count offs and did 2 quietly to himself. FOUR FREAKING COUNT OFFS just so we could catch our breaths!!!! The ego has been on cloud 9 ever since.
Conditions

Disclaimer
– I am not a professional. F3 is all inclusive and if you need to modify then do so. Don’t quit! Don’t stop! It doesn’t matter that everyone else is doing merkins and you’re doing side straddle hops, just keep working. Keep doing something.

Mosey down Fury Rd., stopping at the first drive of Merrywood to deposit the bricks on the concrete island, then on to the bottom at the ByPass.

Dips (Max Effort)
Pull Ups (Max Effort)
While finishing the max effort stuff, YHC decided to take the time to explain what “jail break” to something means. Imagine that you are in prison, and the guards somehow left the gates open. Looking through the unlocked gate you happen to see 100 yds away your best bud sitting stopped in his car at a traffic signal. When someone yells “Jail Break!!” you as a good pax are supposed to run like you are trying to catch your buddy before that light turns green and he pulls away, leaving you just on the outside of the prison.
“Jail break to the Flag!”
5 men sprinted harder than YHC has seen any pax sprint outside of a Hustle workout! WOW! Coffin led the way, looking like a streak of white noggin in the morning sun. Apparently he has a great appreciation of what the escaping prisoner might feel like.

NMM
– Welcome Piddler and Coffin to Fury! Remember, it’s nothing that you haven’t done already, just a little more intense.
– Pulling up, there were trucks parked in all sorts of unusual areas. YHC wasn’t sure if he was showing up for a workout or about to be in the middle of a sting op. It turns out it was just Coffin and Piddler not knowing where the normal parking area was.
– The mtn climber warm up was a tough start, but the leg work with the bricks put a serious hurting.
– If the mtn climber to start with were a crowd pleaser, the ones that we finished with almost incited a riot! Mutiny was definitely on the minds of the pax when YHC blew right past the 20 count.
Fury has become synonymous with tough painful workouts. This one was no different. The suicides were rough especially with the Jungle Boy Squats incorporated. It goes without saying that the 5 of us were thankful for each others motivation and encouragement. We each were never too out of breath to manage a grunt of some form or another. YHC is happy to see so many guys venture over for a first experience, but now we must work on getting them to come back for additional work. It was an honor working with these fine men.
