It was a cold morning at the Connie Maxwell Oasis, but it was perfect for a mini beatdown for the Dads and 2.0s. My 2.0s, Twizzler and Rainbow, are big fans of the Deck of Death, so when Boy George asked if we would lead the workout, we knew exactly what we wanted to deal out to our friends at the camp-out. It went down like this:
COP:
LBACs (forward/backward)
Morning Glories
Imperial Walkers
Deck of Death:
Each 2.0 got to draw a card from the deck and the PAX performed the number of reps based on the card.
Diamonds: Merkins
Clubs: LBCs
Spades:Burpees
Hearts: Air Squats
We made it around the circle one time.
We then took a short run down the dirt road and back.
Announcements: Zombie Trail Run at Camp Fellowship on OCT 29 needs people to sign up. This race benefits Bowers-Rodgers Children’s Home. Sign up if you can.
Prayer Requests: TClaps to all of the 2.0s who spoke up and asked that we pray for their friends who are sick and dealing with injuries. Also please remember MacnCheese’s 2.0 and his family, BlueBall and his family as he goes through his treatment, and Rocky as he makes decisions about his cancer treatment.

NMM:
-TClaps to Boy George for putting this together for all of us. It is such a rewarding and much needed weekend to spend with our 2.0s away from the distractions that life throws at us on a daily basis.
-Juggernaut must be rubbing off on me again as I forgot to do the CoR/NoR until after the BOM.
-We need to remind Spud to pack something other than his good “weekend outfit” for the next camping trip. We would hate for it to get dirty, wouldn’t we?
-It was good to have Uncle Pusher and Grandpa Baby Blu drop in right at the end of the workout and right on time for breakfast. It is always an honor to have the Elder Statesmen grace us with their presence.
Thank you Boy George for asking me to lead the workout. It was a pleasure to serve the Dads and 2.0s this weekend. I know it was a good time for all in attendance, and I think I can speak for all of us that we are already looking forward to our next campout.
