Posting this morning or any morning is not about #manningup or any macho crap like that. It’s about posting for your brothers and pushing each other. I don’t get better without you pushing me. I’m going to post regardless of the weather or how I feel because I know I need to be there to push and encourage someone and be pushed by and encouraged by someone. I’ve posted tired, injured (and modified), in pain (and modified) and unwillingly but I’ve never walked away from a workout with you guys regretting that I got up and posted. I appreciate the push and encouragement brothers.
There is this unspoken need in a man’s life to walk through struggle and hardship with another man. Yes our ultimate source of strength for struggle and hardship should be drawn from our relationship with Christ. We should also share our struggles and hardships with our wives, no she is not to carry the burden but she does need to understand you. We were also created for fellowship. We need another man we can walk beside, relate to, share struggle and difficulties with and encourage and support one another.
That’s what F3 is about. Creating that brotherhood, that bond, that shield lock. Having those men who you know you can rely on to uplift, support and encourage in your darkest moments of need. Sure there are some workout beasts in the group who push the envelope physically and talk smack about having and doing the toughest workouts but most of that is just noise. What they are really after is finding those guys who are willing to go the extra mile and push though the pain, endure the suck and stand beside them toe to toe through it. And in enduring together that bond is formed where you know you can count on that man to step up and choose the hard thing with you. There has to be that desire in you to choose the hard thing no matter what but it is easier when you know you have brothers doing the same thing.
Judge Judy your probably about to bow out now, thanks for reading thus far.
Juggernaut I know your reading this so if I’m off base or out of line feel free to write a rebuttal.
So see its not just about showing and saying your tough because you posted in the mud and slop, pouring down rain, freezing cold or sweltering heat (yes its muggy here in the south at 5:15am). It’s about the fact that I don’t notice or care about any of that because I’m posting because your there. Yea I look at and talk about the weather but that’s only to decide what to wear to the workout. I’m posting because there is a desire inside of me to be a better man and help make other men better. That is my mission and my desire. I stumble and fall, I get my priorities out of wack from time to time but at my core I want to honor God and help lead, encourage and support other men to do the same.
Now that I have that off my chest here is the workout from this morning.

YHC shared so wisdom learned from our initial 6 Saturdays of launch. Queenie was on the Q and shared that some days you kill the workout and other days it kills you. Doesn’t matter shake it off and keep posting your going to have good days and bad days, don’t let it discourage you. Your accomplishing more than everyone else that is still in bed.
YHC also shared my desire to not become complacent in any area of my life, workouts, relationship with Christ, kids, my wife, I want to be continually getting better and improving in all areas, not just physically.

TClaps to Pegleg for posting this morning and pushing through the struggle
Great to see Boy George back to the Epicenter this morning.
Also great work this morning by Fabio and Coldfeet, way to put in work men!
Upon getting back in my truck I had a text from the AOQ letting me know his vehicle wouldn’t start so he missed the workout. My reply was a jab at him like we enjoy ribbing each other “but you have 3 vehicles, all 3 wouldn’t start?” His reply was classic but I’ll spare you the laughs and let you use your imagination. Love you Polly mean it! Maybe you can get a battery changed today and post Wednesday.
I’ve used up all my words for the morning and if your still reading you are a true friend to the end.
