F3 Greenwood

Today was great! The weather, the group, the workout (or at least YHC thought so)! Sometimes things just mix well, like mustard and strawberry jelly on a sausage biscuit (don’t knock until you have tried!) But, it was fun. Off the bat Polly’s windmill sub for side straddle-hops had everyone rolling. Then Juggs and Polly starting pleasantly jawing and with stories and wisdom, some to be repeated and some to be forgotten and quickly blocked out! Good advice to all over 40 from Jugg’s dad “Never trust a fart, when you over 40.”

Warm-Up
20 Side Straddle Hop’s (Or Polly’s windmills)
15 Arm Circle’s Each Direction
15 Hillbilly’s

Mosey to Block Cage

The Thang:
Mosey to Polly’s Pavilion. Alternating farmer’s carry, rifle carry, walking shoulder press, and walking Weaver curls.

21-15-9
Box Jumps and Elevated Block Drags. (Feet on the bench and drag the block back and forth underneath your body)
Then long mosey to Flossy’s Hill. Alternating between the farmer’s carry, rifle carry, walking shoulder press, and walking Weaver curls.
21-15-9
Goblet Squats @ the top of the hill
Run down the hill.
Lateral Hops @ the bottom of the hill.
But, the return was the kicker. Crawl Bear (reverse bear crawls) while dragging the coupon back up with you on the ground. Thin Mint crushed this! The New PAX is quite, but between Jugg’s and Polly it was admittedly hard to get a word in! Otis also put in solid and steady work as well! Juggs has crazy fast hops as well.

Top Of Flossy’s Hill.
The coupons were laid out about two foot apart and a merkin conga line commenced as a row of PAX laterally moved through the coupons all the while doing a one arm elevated merkin on each block. Bunny hopped over the blocks on the return and we rinse and repeat.

Mosey the center of the Epicenter: Alternating between the farmer’s carry, rifle carry, walking shoulder press, and walking Weaver curls.
Then max effort inverted shoulder taps.

Return the coupons and back to the flag.

Announcements and Prayers:
Nov. 10 The Feed The Hungry 5k in memory of Joe Black. Great to hear memories of what a great man and legacy he left.
Prayers for all of us who father boys and for our sons. Particularly in the area of sexual purity.

Proverbs 14:12 “ There is a way that seems right to a man, but its end is the way to death.”
YHC challenged each man to lay each choice we make before the Word of God, and people who love us and hold us accountable. We should be careful in our over-confidence of thinking that our own path apart from God will lead us joy and life.
