YHC is still waking up at around 3:30 because it used to be 4:30. The sound of the rain and thought of the lower temp would generally make it close to impossible to crawl out of the fartsack. Plus, laying there for an hour listening to the wavering precipitation before the alarm sounded didn’t make getting out of bed any easier. Luckily, today was different. YHC was leading his first Q at Epicenter. And while it was harder to dig deep for the motivation, getting up and heading into the Gloom was the best way to start this dreary day. It’s the best way every time.
Judge Hairy and Lego were also up for some work at the Epicenter. So, we got to it.

NMS
Thanks to Judge Hairy and Lego for getting out and motivating YHC this morning. It would have been real easy to turn around and head back to the house.
During our discussion after the workout, we mentioned how the numbers start to drop with the temperatures this time of year. YHC hates the cold (especially cold+rain). In fact, I didn’t exercise outside during the winter months before joining F3. You’d be surprised by how quickly you warm up once you start putting in some reps. Plus, we’re heading into a pretty stressful time of year. And we all know how starting the day in the Gloom can lift us up and help us carry the weight of each day in stride.
So, push yourselves to get out and post. While you’re at it, push someone else to get out and do the work. I’ll see you out there.
For now, enjoy the tunes.
