F3 Greenwood

Conditions: warm, humid, wet, soggy

Disclaimer given

Warmup: 10 burpees OYO, 20 IW, 20 SSH, 20 LBACs forward, backwards, overhead claps

The Thang:

Run the long way to the coupon cage (Indian Run was a possibility, but not quite feasible with only 3 PAX)

Grab coupons and rifle carry to the first pole at the never-used playground

Pair off. Pax 1 does 5 man makers then farmer carries both coupons to next light pole (or gate for the one long stretch), while Pax 2 lunge walks to the same pole.
Switch off at each light pole, stopping only to do 10 pullups at the monkey bars.

Make it to the far end (the next curve). Stop for 25 Merkins.

Turn around and repeat the process back to the starting curve, again stopping to do 10 pull-ups in the middle.

Rifle carry coupons back to cage area.

Leave blocks and do 20 Merkins then 20 bear crawl steps past the first light pole but not quite to the second, turn and repeat back to the cage.

50 curls, 10 squats, run to the same spot between the poles and decrease curls by 10 and increase squats by 10.

COT, COR, NOR

Announcements – none except free trail half marathon that seems to have no date

Prayer requests – Rapunzel’s wife and family with upcoming birth and traveling this weekend, Juggs’ family, BenGay’s family, travel mercies for Tickle

NMS:

With some football thing going on late the night before, I knew the crowd would be small, and honestly figured it would only be me and BenGay for the morning. I was pleased to see BeanO and Rapunzel there ready to go as I came in hot, even if BeanO was just there to run.

Everything was wet – there was even standing water on the paved path, but we managed to stay fairly dry. Gary even decided to ditch the path for the parking lot. Bearcrawl/Merkin combo seemed to be a crowd favorite, and everyone put in some good work.

A good time was had by all, and all got better.
