YHC subscribes to the daily Spartan newsletter and a couple of weeks ago the exercise feature was 15 rounds in 15 minutes. The basic premise was to take 4 exercises and attempt to complete 15 rounds of those exercises starting with 1 rep and ending with 15 reps for each exercise. When YHC saw this, he filed it in the memory bank for a future Q and today was that day. YHC had to check the clock in his car upon arriving at the Epicenter as there was already 5 PAX there and ready to go.

12 minute race against the clock. YHC put 12 minutes on the clock. The 4 exercises were: burpee, squat, up/down plank, big boy sit-up. Start with 1 rep of each and try and get through 12 of each before the timer goes off.
Timer went off and we split into 2 groups of 5 and did an Indian Run around the path to the top of Flossy’s Hill.

Indian Run around path to the roundhouse for another 12 minute race against the clock. Exercises were: merkins, lunges (hard way), Australian mountain climbers, gas pumpers.

There was an agreement among the PAX that at the beginning of the 12 minutes, it felt like you would fly through the workout but you got bogged down around 8 or 9 reps.
Until next time,
